8:30-11:30am Guided Forest Walk @ TBA
Meet experts at 8:30 am sharp (location TBA), where we will split into groups and walk to the trail. Bring your fungus collection equipment and rain gear.

4:00-8:00pm Fun(gus) Gathering @ Flora's, West Side of Bamfield
Craft Fair, Snacks & Seminars
Come to the West Side (boat access only) for a series of evening seminars with our expert mycologists. Check out the craft fair featuring local artists as well as our exclusive 2026 Bamfield Fungus Festival merch.

8:30-11:30am Guided Forest Walk @ Boomer Trail, Tower Rd. lower trailhead
Meet experts at the Boomer Trail lower trailhead on Tower Rd., where we will split into groups and explore fungi within the Bamfield-Huu-ay-aht Community Forest. Bring your fungus collection equipment and rain gear. Entrance by donation.
1:30-4:30pm Mushroom ID Workshop @ TBA
Meet at (location TBA) for sorting of mushroom collections, spore prints & a microscope ID session. Entrance by donation.
2:30-5:30pm Workshop TBA
8:00pm-1:00am Mushroom Dance @ The Firehall, 19+
Celebrate and get funky dancing to DJ Smoothie in your mushroom costume. The best party of the year! Prizes awarded for best costumes. Shuttle for safe rides home provided. No drinking and driving.
